The OPEN Expo is hosted by the OPEN Network - a network of BAM/B4T (see definition below*) practitioners in the the 10/40 window. OPEN
Expo Objectives
Who are the presenters? BAM/B4T practitioners from the OPEN Network who are currently operating profitable businesses for the purpose of transforming communities for His glory. We regret that names or businesses will not be made available. Other speakers include experienced BAM/B4T coaches and BAM/B4T service providers. Comments from past OPEN EXPOs "Very informative and thought provoking. I am convinced that B4T can be a very effective method of evangelizing and impacting the unreached." Peter (Expo 2011) “Good mix of concept and case studies. Good networking opportunities." Brad (Expo 2011) "I was at York, but I am so glad I came again. Plenty of new content, caes studies, and networking opportunities." Matt (Expo 2011) "I am in. Excited to attend the coaches training so I may use my business experience to further His kingdom" (Expo 2011) “I have
been to many BAM seminars and
conferences; let me assure you none were as challenging and
comprehensive as the OPEN Expo. Having so many experienced people there
who have really done it, made the difference.” Tim
(Expo 2010)
"The strongest, most decisive missions related conference I have ever
attended/been part of." Chris N. (Expo 2009) “You
guys really do integrate business with
mission.” J. “As
I reflect on the last few days I simply
cannot hold it in. I thank you both for your obedience to the call of
leadership and to carry His "easy burden" of a heart that is full
of fervent passion to see Him glorified among all peoples and
nations.” Al T. "Loved the apparent humility - very strong vision for an organic means to the end and excellent equipping and networking" Tom S "Came to get 2 specific types of information for 2 specific field workers. Take aways are MUCH more than that and for many more than just two workers." Karen S*B4T (Business for Transformation) refers to businesses stratgically placed in unreached areas which are profitable and serving the local community; generally through transformation, and specifically through evangelism, discipleship, and church planting. |
